Artist's Description
This is the third in my series "ghosts and shadows," a digital series that overlaps photographs, juxtaposing scenes from my grandfather's farm with playing children. I spend many happy hours on the farm growing up and it was a haven from some of the trouble that occurred at home, where I struggled with recovery from childhood trauma. The pieces in this series are both happy and sad, poignant but hopeful. Most of all, it's about bringing beauty and healing to the past.
